We’ve created this video of the Stations of the Cross as part of our Lenten program to help guide your prayers during this sacred season. The Stations provide a powerful way to reflect on Christ's passion, inviting us to walk with Him through His suffering.
The history of the Stations of the Cross dates back to the early centuries of Christianity when pilgrims in Jerusalem would walk the path Jesus took to His crucifixion. As many could not travel to Jerusalem, the practice spread to local churches, where Christians could symbolically journey with Christ through prayer. By the 18th century, the 14 stations we know today were established, helping all believers reflect on Christ’s sacrifice, no matter where they are.
May this devotion strengthen your faith, deepen your love for our crucified Lord, and inspire you to greater acts of charity, that you may bear His Cross with love and serve others in His name.
