We've be busy behind the scenes this lent & taken a leap of faith with these upcoming Easter episodes. For the first time we took an Easy-jet for a overnight trip to Elgin.
We had recently contacted some people to act as brokers with other families they think may have a good story. This is the first of those leads.
A bit like having children if you wait for the perfect time to do something it's never going to happen so after a bit of chat with our new host we booked the flights, the car, the airbnb and got the weighing scales out for our baggage limit.
As with many things Catholic once you lift up one rock you find yourself lifting another and the trip was quickly becoming a race against the clock.
As well as our host Lucy, a convert from paganism, there was also a group nuns in the same town and nearby the lesser well known (at least to those of us outside Scotland) Pluscarden abbey, that we might have time to look at.
The trip will hopefully be a sign of things to come. I spend a lot of my professional time filming for other channels but would much rather do it more for one of nine.
What's more interesting and a better witness than real life Catholic families and nuns and monks? No a lot.
This is our pitch to you, our faithful audience, to consider backing us with a monthly or one off donation if you aren't already.
