As the war in Ukraine continues, countless civilians suffer the devastating impacts of war. Aid organizations like the Order of Malta are providing a glimmer of hope through vital humanitarian projects. EWTN has been granted rare access to accompany the Order of Malta in Ukraine, documenting their efforts in hospitals where amputees receive physical and psychological rehabilitation. The demand for prosthetics remains high due to the brutal conflict. In upcoming reports, viewers will meet survivors sharing stories of tragedy and resilience and hear from teams rescuing abducted Ukrainian children from Russian-occupied territories while assisting displaced families. Coverage will also include Bucha, a city scarred by horrific atrocities in 2022, where a local priest recounts some of the horrors. EWTN Vatican journalist Valentina Di Donato has more.
